Let’s talk today about airline and travel cards. You redeem ‘miles’ (usually one mile per dollar spent, although some cards are more generous) for free airline tickets, travel, etc. Usually 100 miles equals 1 dollar in savings (1%) but some have special bonuses like the cash back cards. Some have introductory interest rates and most will waive the first annual fee ($75 – $400 depending on the card). I usually like the cash back cards better but these can be useful too.
