Brian’s Financial Musings
I just read an article (a premium paid service, so I can’t link it) about a new generation of renters. A bunch of short sales and forclosures later, many people have had thir credit so messed up they can’t do anything but rent for the next seven years. Sounds like investing in residential real estate (either buying and renting out or buying various REITs) will make sense for the next few years.

The Senate is inching closer to passing the 1099 repeal. Here is a link:http://nationaljournal.com/healthcare/senate-preparing-to-vote-on-1099-repeal-provision-20110329When the Senate finally passes the bill I will interupt my regularly scheduled rantings to let you know (As soon as I wake up – this is taking forever). Good thing they wanted to push it through quickly or it would take unitl 2013 to pass it.
