CPA Tax Musings: Appeals Court Refuses to Lift Injunction against IRS Tax Preparer Regulation
Well, guess what? The federal appeals court refused to lift the injunction that allows the IRS to regulate tax preparers. Gee that is a surprise! Allowing them to do what they were doing even when the district court said they didn’t have authority to do what they were doing (whew!) CPA Tax Musings: Email tax may slice spam and scams out of inboxes
Hey on the surface this sounds like more unamerican tactics, tax everyone for everything, including air and email! But read the article before you judge too harshly; the initiator actually makes some good points and if it will make huge bulk emails and spam more expensive, maybe it is at least worth a look (look how much we pay for malware and anti-spam software and how much time we spend deleting useless emails!)
