CPA Tax Musings: Appeals Court Refuses to Lift Injunction against IRS Tax Preparer Regulation

Well, guess what? The federal appeals court refused to lift the injunction that allows the IRS to regulate tax preparers.  Gee that is a surprise!  Allowing them to do what they were doing even when the district court said they didn’t have authority to do what they were doing (whew!)  See this post by Michael Cohn in AccountingToday for the final word:

Guess the IRS will just have to prove its case like the rest of us.
