Even after Amazon agrees to pay taxes in some states, they are still fighting New York over Use Tax. See this article in Forbes by Robert W. Wood:

It is interesting that Amazon will fight some battles and give in on others, pay sales and use taxes some places but not others. If they win in New York, will they try to get things overturned elsewhere?
