General Musings of a Burbank CPA: Time for Accounting Humor!
This was a busy weekend (with some issues with my tax software and client appointments) so it is time to tell a joke I heard (accounting humor is funny): I was just out of school and was working at a firm with another accountant during tax season. This was my first job and after working till eleven in the evening we went to get some food at a burger joint. The next morning we both had huge stomach distress. Not getting better the next day, we talked about it. My buddy went to his doctor; I figured I would save some money and just use my buddy’s diagnosis and not go to the doctor at all. When he came back, I asked him what the doctor said. “The doctor said I had indigestion”, he said. So I took some Tumms and went back to work. A couple of days later I hadn’t seen my friend, so I asked our manager where he was. “Oh he died suddenly the other day”, he said.
