Musings of a Burbank CPA: App Helps Teach Accounting Basics

There is a new app being developed for the iPhone and iPad that will teach accounting basics to non-accountants.  See the article from Accounting Today by Michael Cohn for more details:

The app teaches double entry bookkeeping basics and has been out for a couple of years, but while popular in Europe it hasn’t really gained much use in the United States.  The developer, Peter Ruehl from Germany, is now looking for ways to impact the U.S. market.  It seems like an inexpensive way for small businesses to improve their knowledge of basic accounting.
